Are LBP batteries waterproof?
LBP batteries are built with sealed, water-resistant cases designed to handle marine environments. While they are not fully submersible, they are highly resistant to splashes, spray, and moisture when installed correctly.
How long will an LBP marine battery last on the water?
Usage time depends on the amp draw of your equipment, but most users experience 2–3x longer run time compared to lead-acid batteries. This means more trolling, more electronics uptime, and less worry.
Do I need a special charger for my marine lithium battery?
We recommend using a LiFePO₄-compatible charger with the proper voltage and charge profile. Using the wrong charger may affect battery life and performance.
What size battery do I need for my trolling motor?
This depends on your motor’s voltage and amperage requirements. Common setups include:
12V 100Ah for smaller trolling motors
24V 75–150Ah for mid-size setups
36V 40–120Ah for larger, high-thrust motors
