- Ensure that the equipment is used under the correct operating conditions. Never operate it in a wet environment.
- It is normal for the Smart DC-DC charger to get hot during operation; keep any heat-sensitive objects away and provide proper ventilation.
- For very hot environments, consider mechanical air extraction.
- Avoid covering the charger.
- Refer to the specifications provided by the battery manufacturer to ensure that the battery is suitable for use with this product. The battery manufacturer's safety instructions should always be observed.
- In addition to this manual, the system operation or service manual must include a battery maintenance manual applicable to the type of batteries used.

Mounting
- Mount on a non-flammable surface with screws.
- Observe a minimum clearance of 10 cm under and above the product for optimal cooling.
- Mount close to the 12V engine battery, but never directly above the battery to prevent damage due to gassing of the battery.
- The control and indicator panel could be mounted at any convenient area away from the charger.
Charging
- Connect the input power cable with 12V engine battery first, Then connect output power cable with 36V 10A Lithium battery. be sure the polarity is connected correctly.
- Push POWER button, The charger will charge the service battery if input voltage raise up to 13.3V DC, if the input voltage drops to 12.5V DC, the charger will cut off.
